PARISH EASTER EGG HUNT - donations of small wrapped candy, small toys and plastic eggs are needed for the Parish Easter Egg Hunt.  All donations may be dropped off at the school office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday. The Easter Bunny needs help this year hiding the eggs before 10 a.m. Mass.  Please call 662-2883 if you can help.

MUSIC OPPORTUNITIES!

 

YOUTH CHOIR AND "ORCHESTRA"

 

Students grades 6 thru 12, are invited and urged to bring voices and instruments to practice together every Tuesday at 7pm, and to serve your parish as music ministers for the 10am liturgy the first Sunday of each month.  Call the parish office - 664-6345 ext. 119 for more information.

 

MUSIC FOR THE 5PM MASS

 

Want to serve as music minister but can't commit to practice every week?  Want to sing or play an instrument at Mass, but don't want to get up early on weekends?

THIS IS YOUR INVITATION!

Those Musicians who gather at 3:30pm Sunday afternoon are the musicians for the 5pm Liturgy.  Come with guitars, percussion, flute, strings, horns, etc.  Come with voices that make joyful noise.  We will sing in parts when we can.

SHARE YOUR JOY AND TALENTS.

WEEKLY MUSIC PRACTICE

 

Weekly practice continues every Thursday evening at 6pm in the Church for those who wish to serve as cantors, song leaders and ensemble singers for the weekend liturgies.

THE EDGE YOUTH GROUP

What is The Edge? - The Edge is St. Paul's Youth Group for students in grades 5 through grade 8.

What is the purpose of The Edge? - The purpose of The Edge is to encourage students to have fun learning about their faith.

When does The Edge meet? - The Edge meets once a month.

What is the cost? - It is free.  (However, if an activity is very expensive, we may ask for some monetary assistance).

How can I as a parent help? - We are asking if you could just volunteer to help for one month's activities.

Oct.19          Meet at First Friends Church- at the corn maze 7:30 to 9:00 pm - Cost is $5.00

Jan. 13        12:15 pm to 2:00 pm in the Youth Room

Feb.            TBA - skating party

Mar. 2        12:15 pm to 2:00 pm in the Youth Room

Apr.            TBA - rock wall climbing at IWU

May 4        12:15 pm to 2:00 pm in the Youth Room

The parish staff is also now located in the Rectory.

Fri. 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.  (CLOSED GOOD FRIDAY)

Staff is willing to open the shop at other times during regular office hours for your convenience.
