ST. PAUL PARISH SCHOOL
ANNUAL ICE CREAM SOCIAL

On Wednesday, September 1st, from 5 pm to 7:00 pm we will have our annual Ice Cream Social in back of the school. Dairy Queen will again supply the usual wonderful toppings for our ice cream sundaes (thanks to Dairy Queen for their continued generosity, we are truly grateful). This year we will have a clown ministry and they will be doing balloon shapes and face painting for the children. Everyone in the parish is invited to come out and enjoy the evening and some wonderful ice cream treats.

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY

GOSPEL OF MATTHEW

Small groups are being formed to begin studying the Gospel of Matthew. Leaders met with Father this summer to prepare for these sessions. Six groups will begin meeting after Labor Day. They are:

SUNDAY RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 2010-2011

Sunday Religious Education classes will begin on Sunday, September 12, 11:15am to 12:15 pm in St. Paul School. Families that had a child/children in SRE last year will receive their SRE registrations forms in the mail in mid-August. If your child is new to SRE you can pick up a registration form in the parish office Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm. SRE forms can be returned by mailing them to the parish, dropping in the collection basket or bringing to SRE the first Sunday of Class. If you have any questions, call Nora Reynolds at 765-662-2883 ext. 117.

MUSIC OPPORTUNITIES!

MUSIC FOR THE 5PM MASS

Want to serve as music minister but can't commit to practice every week? Want to sing or play an instrument at Mass, but don't want to get up early on weekends?

THIS IS YOUR INVITATION!

Those Musicians who gather at 3:30pm Sunday afternoon are the musicians for the 5pm Liturgy. Come with guitars, percussion, flute, strings, horns, etc. Come with voices that make joyful noise. We will sing in parts when we can.

WEEKLY MUSIC PRACTICE

Weekly practice continues every Thursday evening at 6:30pm in the Church for those who wish to serve as cantors, song leaders and ensemble singers for the weekend liturgies.
