Preschool Arrival and Dismissal Children in the AM classes are to be dropped off at the Preschool door (between the school and McCarthy Hall) in the morning at 8:30 am. We will not accept the children in the classroom more than 5 minutes before class time. Children will then be picked up at 11:00 at the door behind the school between school and McCarthy Hall. I will put your child in the car at the end of the morning. If you have a carpool or cannot bring your child to school, there will be a folder sent home in a school bag with their calendars and notes in them. Children in the PM classes are to be dropped off at 12:30 at the door at the parking lot between the church and school. Parents may line up, and let their children off at this door. I will be there to greet them. Children will then be picked up at 3:00 at the door behind the school between school and McCarthy Hall. I will put your child in the car at the end of the afternoon. If you have a carpool or cannot bring your child to school, there will be a folder sent home in a school bag with their calendars and notes in them.

A note to our non-parishioner friends: As a parochial school, we are heavily supported by St. Paul Catholic Church parishioners. Tuition pays approximately 45% of our school costs; the remainder is covered by the church financial support, corporate and individual matching funds and miscellaneous income. We expect our parishioner families to support the church and through their support, the school. Our higher tuition rates of non-parishioners, both Catholic and non-Catholic, are not intended to discourage or exclude anyone, but rather reflect their portion of St. Paul Catholic Church's support. The total cost for a child's education is approximately $7,500.
Limited tuition scholarships for kindergarten through 6th grade are available. Please complete the scholarship application and submit it to the Pastor.

The St. Paul Catholic Church mission statement includes the words, "..to pass on the faith we have received from the apostles to our children and to others". The mission of the St. Paul School Kindergarten is to make children feel secure and successful in school as we pass on that faith. The program is designed around a developmentally appropriate approach. Children are encouraged to learn on their own through active participation and interaction with the teacher, classmates and developmentally appropriate materials. The teacher recognizes the varying levels and interests of the children. The children are allowed to develop at their own pace through activities which include physical movement, active communication, and individual and group problem solving. Learning is centered around activities which are meaningful and relevant to the children. Integrated themes bring learning to a natural level as the children experience spontaneous and instructive play in the classroom through activities which draw together reading, math, writing and science, with art and music. Computers are used to reinforce the curriculum. The Kindergarten children learn to open and close programs along eith basic sord processing in the computer lab that is equipped with 24 new Dell computers. Field trips are used to relate learning to real-life experiences. Parental involvement is encouraged. Parents are seen as partners in the education of their children. Of primary importance is the independence and well being of each child. Each child is accepted for where they are, and through choice, encouragement and manipulative activities, they gain a sense of competence, individuality and responsibility. Dear Parent: Thank you for your interest in St. Paul Catholic School. Our school is anchored in faith and knowledge. Each child comes to us as a special gift from God. We believe that our Catholic school will provide your child with a quality education. We have an excellent teaching staff that is dedicated to providing your child with a classroom atmosphere that will create a positive learning environment. Our staff values each child and encourages them to reach for the stars. Your child will reach his/her full potential in a classroom where daily prayer and respect for others are expected. You are welcome to visit our school any day between 8:30AM to 3:15PM. Please call our school office at 765-662-2883 and set up an appointment to meet with Linda Napier, our Development Director. She will give you a tour of the school and make arrangements for you to visit any classroom. Sincerely, Jacqueline P. Certain
