NEWS!
ANNUAL ICE CREAM SOCIAL
On Wednesday, September 1st, from 5 pm to 7:00 pm we will have our annual Ice Cream Social in back of the school. Dairy Queen will again supply the usual wonderful toppings for our ice cream sundaes (thanks to Dairy Queen for their continued generosity, we are truly grateful). This year we will have a clown ministry and they will be doing balloon shapes and face painting for the children. Everyone in the parish is invited to come out and enjoy the evening and some wonderful ice cream treats.

LUNCH
SCHEDULE! In an effort to make lunch and recess time flow more
smoothly, we have implemented a new schedule. Kindergarten, 1st and
2nd grades will go to lunch from 11:20 to 11:45 and then go to recess from 11:45
until 12:10. Grades 3, 4 and 5 will go to recess from 11:20 until 11:45 and then
eat lunch from 11:45 until 12:10. This new schedule will cut down on the noise
and confusion and enable the younger students to eat with fewer distractions.

St. Paul School has instituted a new attendance incentive program. The goal of this program is to decrease the number of absences the school experiences due to tardies and family vacations.
*Did you know that three tardies equal one absence? *Did you know that students who are consistently on time for school grow up to have an improved work ethic? Employers expect their employees to be on time and at work each day. *Did you know that studies have proven that students who have high attendance rates achieve at a higher level in school and on standardized tests?
Spread the Word:
Students with Perfect Attendance for each 9 weeks will:
Be recognized at the Friday morning gathering time with a perfect attendance ribbon and certificate. Their names will also be listed in the Chronicle-Tribune and the Trojan Tribune.
Students with Perfect Attendance for the whole year will:
Receive the incentives as listed above PLUS: A t-shirt and recognition in the Chronicle-Tribune. Additionally, these students will have their picture submitted to the diocesan newspaper, The Catholic Moment.
