St. Paul Catholic School provides a variety of extra-curricular activities for students to help with the development of the whole person – mind, body and spirit. The opportunities offered vary by year and student interest. Below is a listing of current and/or past opportunities offered.

• Basketball skills and drills- This is an opportunity for students at all grade levels to learn the basics of basketball without competition. 
• Band-  Students in grades 5-8 are given the chance to try out different instruments and learn a new skill. The take is as a class to earn a fine arts credit as well as the option to stay after school to further their progress. 
• Robotics Club – Students are led by Ms. Kastner to design and practice a VEX robot. At least once per year the club participates in a competition.

• Battle of the Books – Fourth and fifth grade students may choose to join the St. Paul Battle of the Books team and compete in a contest hosted by the Marion Public Library. This group of students will read the selected contest books and prepare for the quiz bowl type event.
