The Members of St. Paul Parish are gathered by the Holy Spirit to worship God in word, action and sacrament and to serve Jesus Christ by serving others, especially the poor and needy.  We are committed to handing on the faith we have received from the Apostles to our children and others.

• 1868 - Parish established in Marion in frame structure at Ninth and Branson Streets

• 1897 - Dedication of new brick gothic church on Branson Street

• 1909 - Elementary school began in church basement

• 1910 - New school erected on site of original church

• 1933 - School expanded and the first class graduated from St. Paul High School

• 1950 - New convent erected on Branson Street

• 1955 - Bennett High School opens on Kem Road

• 1963 - Church renovated

• 1964 - New priests' residence purchased on Adams Street

• 1973 - Consolidation of elementary and high school on Kem Road

• 1977 - New church erected and parish relocated to Kem Road

• 1993 - Closure of Bennett High

• 2019 - Addition of a narthex to the front of the church is completed and dedicated

• 2020 - Portraits of St. Paul and St. Martin de Porres were gifted to the parish

• Present - St. Paul Catholic Parish serves approximately 600 families. St. Paul Catholic School continues as an excellent preschool through 8th grade academic community.
